Vereshchuk To Russians: It Is Not Safe For You In Crimea

Ukrainian deputy prime minister urged Russians to leave the Ukrainian peninsula in time.

Russian civilians who illegally entered the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea should leave the Ukrainian peninsula before the start of active hostilities.

This is written by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for reintegration of temporarily occupied territories Irina Vereshchuk on Telegram.

"Here I wonder: What do many thousands of Russians, who in recent years illegally entered our Crimea, count on. Because usually everything unpleasant happens unexpectedly. When the Crimean bridge falls (it's a matter of time, it's obvious), when the land corridor is cut, when ground fighting starts on the peninsula, what will they do?" she reports.

Vereshchuk adds that it will not be possible for thousands of civilians to leave the peninsula quickly, and with the routes cut, when there are battles all around, it will be impossible.

"Therefore, I appeal to civilian Russians who are illegally on the peninsula. Staying in Ukrainian Crimea is dangerous for you. Go. Don't be thoughtless," she added.
