Russia-Ukraine Talks Remain In Doubt

The exact time for Ukraine-Russia talks in Istanbul has not yet been set, Reuters reported, citing a Turkish Foreign Ministry source.

A technical Russian delegation and several US officials are currently in Istanbul, the source told the publication.

He also added that there was no question of postponing the talks.

The Kremlin confirmed earlier on May 15 that dictator Vladimir Putin would not come to Turkey for talks with Ukraine. Instead, he sent to Istanbul his aide Vladimir Medinsky, deputy foreign minister Mikhail Galuzin, deputy defense minister Alexander Fomin and the chief of the General Staff's Main Directorate Igor Kostyukov.
