Merz Urged To Prepare For Russia's Long War Against Ukraine

The Kremlin doesn't need peace.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called for preparing for a prolonged Russian war against Ukraine because of the Kremlin's unwillingness to enter peace talks.

This was reported by The Telegraph.

"Wars usually end because of economic or military exhaustion on one or both sides," Merz said.

He emphasized, however, that the situation is far "from achieving that."

"Therefore, we may have to prepare for a longer war," the chancellor added.
