Poland Elects A President

The second round has begun.

The second round of the presidential election has begun in Poland, with Civic Coalition candidate Rafal Trzaskowski and Right and Justice-backed Karol Nawrocki facing off. Voting started on June 1 at 7:00 local time (8:00 Minsk time).

Voting in the United States has already ended, but the results will be known only after the elections in Poland are over. Polling stations will close at 21:00 (22:00 Minsk time).

It should be noted that in the first round of elections, which ended on May 18, Rafal Trzaskowski got 31.36% of votes, while Karol Nawrocki 29.54%. According to polls, both candidates have an equal chance of winning. The result may be determined by a few tens of thousands of votes.
