You're gonna have to shell out some money.

The government of Belarus has raised tariffs for some housing and communal services. The increase, among other things, affected electricity, which is used for heating homes, writes "Zerkalo".

Sovmin raised the electricity tariff, which some consumers call "three kopecks," from June 1, i.e. retroactively. It requires the installation of a special additional meter.

Since June 1, this tariff rose by 1.1% - to 0.0454 rubles per 1 kWh. It turns out that if in May you had to pay 44.9 rubles for 1000 kWh, in June - 45.4 rubles.

This tariff has not been raised since June 2023. It was going to be raised at the beginning of last summer, but then they changed their mind. And the increase was supposed to be 14.5% - up to 0.0514 rubles per 1 kWh. This is conditionally positive news: this year's price rise will be less than planned in 2024.

We recall that in Belarus, January 1, by decree of Alexander Lukashenko, many tariffs for housing and communal services were raised. Among other things, the price rise affected electricity. At the same time, the tariffs, related to heating of housing, may also rise from June, stated in the document.
