The last landowner there was a military unit.

Rosreestr has classified data on the owners of the 150-hectare plot where 3/5 of the Valdai presidential residence is located, Telegram channel "We can explain" has noticed.

The land under Putin's Long Beards residence is divided into two parts. Its smaller part of 100 hectares has been owned since 2003 by Prime, a company owned by Putin's friend Yuri Kovalchuk. This is stated in a fresh extract from the Rosreestr, which was obtained by "MO". However, when trying to request information about the second half of the residence, the Rosreestr gives an error. "It is impossible to get a report on this object," - says the response of the agency, which "MO" received from several services that provide access to the FGIS EGRN.

Even in December 2024 Rosreestr issued data on this site. Then it became known that in June 2024 the plot of 150 hectares was transferred from Kovalchuk's company to the use of Department "B" of the Presidential Security Service. The USRN extract showed the TIN of the new owner of the plot. But under his number in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities was hidden not the SBP Directorate, but the military unit No. 38978. In the public domain about it there is no data: neither on the number of military, nor on the place of deployment.

🔹 As follows from the SPARK data, the commander of v/ч №38978 is Zhuravlev Valery Arkadyevich. He is registered in the very center of Moscow, in the commandant's service of the Moscow Kremlin - at 11 Manezhnaya Square. According to leaked Siren Travel flight booking data, between 2015 and 2018, Zhuravlev flew at least 28 times to Gelendzhik, where Putin's palace - another of his unofficial residences - is located.
