Ilon Musk Has Stated That He Regrets His Posts About Trump

The American billionaire said "they've gone too far".

American billionaire and former associate of US President Ilon Musk has said he regrets some of his words about Donald Trump that led to a public controversy. Musk wrote this on social network X on Wednesday, June 11.

He wrote that the conflict with Trump, which began after a series of public accusations from Musk in particular, went "too far."

"I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far," Musk wrote.

On May 29, Musk announced his resignation from the Trump administration as the period during which Musk could officially serve as a "special government employee" expired.

The billionaire had publicly expressed dissatisfaction with a sweeping spending bill in the U.S. that passed the House of Representatives at Trump's urging. In particular, Musk claimed that this "big good bill" contradicts the goals of reducing government spending.
