This has put progress in the negotiations on pause.
The American leader said that Ukraine and Russia have made progress in peace talks, but so far progress is on pause.
Russian President Vladimir Putin does not care about the losses during the war against Ukraine. This was stated by United States President Donald Trump in a interview with host Miranda Devine.
Answering the interviewer's question about what "trump cards" the United States has to force Russia and Ukraine to end the war, Trump said Moscow is "losing 5,000 military personnel every week." Devine noted that the dictator doesn't care about that.
"Maybe he (Putin, - ed.) doesn't care, I'm starting to think he doesn't care. He's losing a lot of soldiers, and so is Ukraine. We'll see what happens next," Trump said.
He also added that there was supposedly some progress between Ukraine and Russia, but then "they bombed things they shouldn't have bombed." That put progress on pause.
