The Israeli Armed Forces have published footage of tactical aircraft training for strikes on Iranian military facilities. Judging by the footage, F-35I, F-16I and F-15I fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force participated in the air attack, writes "Focus".

The official page of the IDF on the network X has published a video of the preparation for the departure of fighter jets as part of Operation "Lion Nation", which began at night, June 13.

In addition to the Adirs, Israeli Air Force F-16I and F-15I fighter jets have been used to strike Iranian territory.

F-35I and its armament

The Israeli Air Force has taken to the air for strikes with its advanced F-35I Adir fighters, developed under the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, which can carry a variety of missile weapons, notably Stunner missiles, Spice-1000, Python-5 and Derby missiles, as well as MPR-500 bombs

Stunner is an advanced Israeli-American anti-aircraft guided interceptor missile developed under the David's Sling project to intercept aerodynamic targets and tactical ballistic missiles. The missile is highly maneuverable and is equipped with a dual guidance system - radar and infrared, which increases resistance to interference.

Spice-1000 is a guided aerial munition based on the 1,000-pound Mk.83 aerial bomb. Developed by the Israeli company Rafael, it is a planned bomb with a modular guidance system. The munition combines inertial navigation, GPS and electro-optical/IR guidance with the ability to autonomously recognize a target from a pre-loaded image.

Python-5 is a fifth-generation short-range air-to-air missile featuring ultra-high maneuverability and the ability to engage targets in any direction. Developed by Rafael, the missile is equipped with a wide-angle infrared homing head and LOAL technology, which allows it to attack the enemy even beyond line of sight.

Derby is a medium-range air-to-air missile with active radar homing. It has a range of up to 50 km, with the advanced Derby-ER version having a range of up to 100 km.

MPR-500 is a 500-pound caliber multi-purpose penetrating aerial bomb developed by the Israeli company IMI Systems. It is designed to hit fortified targets, including concrete shelters, bunkers and command posts. The bomb penetrates up to one meter of reinforced concrete without destroying the structure.
