Israelis Are Stocking Up On Food

The number of customers in Carrefour stores increased by 300%.
On June 13, many Israelis headed to supermarkets and retailers to prepare for extended stays in sheltered areas due to the war with Iran, Details wrote.
Channel 12 reported that the retailers said stores are expected to remain open until Saturday unless otherwise instructed.
The Carrefour chain announced that it is increasing its workforce and deliveries nationwide. The chain opened its branches as early as six in the morning. According to Carrefour, as of this morning, the number of shoppers at the chain's stores has increased 300% compared to a normal day. People are buying water, bread, baby food, personal care products and batteries.
Eyal Ravid, CEO of retail chain Victori, said, "We have seen a very high number of shoppers since the branches opened. We have increased our staff to respond to the situation and meet the high demand for products. It is too early to talk and analyze, but we recognize that customers are buying up everything. No shortages are expected at this time, but things could change depending on consumption volumes."
The Schufersaal chain said, "Schufersaal branches are open as usual nationwide in accordance with Home Front Service instructions. The company is continuously assessing the situation in collaboration with relevant parties to ensure regular deliveries, functional continuity and preparedness for any development."
