Fox News: Iran Hit The Pentagon Analog In Tel Aviv With Missiles

  • 14.06.2025, 9:30

An entire neighborhood is almost completely destroyed.

Iranian ballistic missiles struck the Kirya compound, the headquarters of the Israeli Armed Forces, which is considered Israel's equivalent of the Pentagon.

In the course of the evening, Iran fired about 150 ballistic missiles at Israel, a correspondent for Fox News reported.

Part of those missiles breached air defenses and struck important sites, particularly the Kirya compound, a strategic military center in downtown Tel Aviv that houses the headquarters of Israel's armed forces.

"This is Israel's equivalent of the Pentagon - Kirya. And a building in this compound has just been hit," the journalist explained.

He said an entire block was "almost completely destroyed."

"Rescuers were clearing the rubble... trying to find traces of possible bodies," the journalist noted.

Despite the active work of Israeli and American missile defense systems such as Iron Dome, David's Arrow, Arrow, Patriot and THAAD, some missiles were able to overcome the defenses.

"It's not enough to stop that kind of shelling. We saw rockets hit the ground, causing significant destruction and at least one death," the Fox News correspondent emphasized.

He also noted that this is just the beginning of a war between Israel and Iran that is rapidly escalating.

It should be noted that on the night of June 14, Iran launched a third wave of rockets into Israel.
