On the night of Saturday, June 14, Iran fired dozens of ballistic missiles and drones into Israel in four waves of attacks in response to shelling of its territory on June 13. The strikes killed three people and wounded about 80 in Israeli cities, The Times of Israel wrote .

Iranian media said hundreds of rockets were fired at Israel in the first round of attacks on the evening of June 13. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the actual number of targets was less than 100.

Each of the four waves of attacks included dozens of rockets. Israel Defense Forces spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin said most of the rockets were intercepted by air defenses or did not reach the country.

A few rockets landed in central Israel, and heavy explosions were heard in the Tel Aviv area. Residential homes and other buildings were destroyed in the attack.

In Rishon Le Tzion, south of Tel Aviv, more than 20 people were injured when an Iranian rocket landed near homes. One woman was killed in Ramat Gan as debris fell, CNN wrote.
