Polish President Andrzej Duda is stuck in Singapore due to the escalating situation between Israel and Iran. His flight had to be postponed.

Duda and his wife have been in Southeast Asia since June 9. The Polish presidential couple visited Malaysia and Singapore. Andrzej Duda held meetings with politicians and attended the opening of the Poland-Singapore Business Forum.

The Polish president was scheduled to return from Asia on Friday, June 13. The plane was scheduled to depart before lunchtime and fly via Egypt. However, the escalation in the Middle East changed the plans.

The president's office said the route had to be changed, so the flight was delayed for a longer time.

Polsat News has learned that an alternative route has been worked out, with Duda's plane expected to depart within hours.
