How Kiev reacted to the news about the delivery of Russian missiles and bombs to Belarus.
On the eve of the Community of Railwaymen of Belarus with reference to sources and analysis of current activity on the Belarusian Railway reported that from June 14 to June 30, 2025 air bombs and missiles of various types will be brought from Russia to the Belarusian territory.
The news immediately spread in the Ukrainian press. The publication "Obozrevatel" accompanied a publication on this topic in social networks with a characteristic summarization: "Lukashenko is taking a risk...", writes "Salidarnasts".
The Ukrainian media compared the methods and volumes of Russian arms deliveries with the way preparations for a full-scale invasion in February 2022 were conducted under the guise of exercises.
Ukrainian Focus draws attention to the fact that arms from Russia are delivered not only by rail.
"In the summer, Russian Il-76 and An-124-100 transport planes began flying to Belarusian airfields, in particular to the airbase in Machulishchi," the publication writes.
Militarny Portal notes that Machulishchi has become one of the main airbases of the Russian occupiers since the start of the invasion in 2022. and reminds:
The scenario and scale of the future exercise repeats the exercise "Union Decisiveness", which from February 10 to 20, 2022 was held on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Four days after they ended, Russian troops invaded Ukraine.
Ukrainian media quoted the country's president as speaking out about possible scenarios of the military exercises being prepared in Belarus. His statement came on the same day as the publication of information about the importation of missiles and air bombs.
"Zelensky hinted to Lukashenko how provocations at the exercises with Russia could turn out," the UNIAN news agency wrote.
"Lukashenko is afraid and will move the exercises further away from the border with Ukraine," the Ukrainian leader said. - "He understands, after our retaliatory steps in Kursk direction, if we feel threatened - what we are capable of doing."
The Ukrainian president emphasized that the analysis of Ukrainian intelligence suggests that the exercise participants "will try to move even a little bit deeper into Belarus, further away from the borders."
