The plane made an emergency landing.

Azimut Airlines' Superjet-100 aircraft lost its right engine cowl during takeoff at Vnukovo airport, "Aviatorschina" reported.

After the airliner took off, the dispatcher contacted the crew and warned about the loss of the nacelle flaps. The commander of the aircraft, which was to head to Batumi, decided to return to the departure airport, where a Code Blue alert was declared. The airplane ran out of fuel in the waiting area and landed safely an hour later. Fragments of the engine cowl were found on the runway. According to the Aviaincident telegram channel, the breakdown occurred on June 15.

Over the past week, at least seven planes of Russian airlines broke down in the air or could not take off due to technical problems.
