Belarusian Pianist Takes Three Prizes At Once At The Competition In Valencia

In addition to the prize-winning place, our fellow countryman received two more special awards.

Belarusian Vladislav Khandogi distinguished himself at the 23rd International Piano Competition named after Jose Iturbi in Valencia, Spain, which took place on June 4-14, writes "Belarus and the World".

In particular, the jury awarded our young compatriot the second place, which brought him a prize of 20 thousand euros and an engagement to participate in a concert tour.

In addition, our fellow countryman received two more special awards: the prize of audience sympathy (2 thousand euros) and the prize for the best performance of a Beethoven concerto (2 thousand euros).

The first place in the competition went to Israeli Nabil Hayek, the third - the Italian Ruggero Fiorella. In total, about 200 applicants from 40 countries applied for participation.
