The AFU Has Received A New French-made Attack Drone

The AFU has started to massively use the new MV-25 OSKAR barrage munition developed by the French company KNDS France in cooperation with DELAIR and EOS Technologie.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of KNDS Group.

The company notes that the new attack drone belongs to the MATARIS line, which includes several models with different range and purpose.

The developers add that the MV-25 OSKAR has already received positive feedback from various units of the AFU. Its development and implementation took only two years, and the first combat tests took place in June 2024.

According to the concept, this attack drone is designed to target infantry and lightly armored vehicles. It is equipped with a 550-gram fragmentation warhead and is capable of operating at a range of up to 25 kilometers, staying in the air for up to 45 minutes.

The MV-25 OSKAR is easy to deploy and does not require a runway or prepared terrain, according to representatives of the development company. The vehicle has low radar visibility and uses an interference-resistant data link, which allows navigation in the absence of satellite signals.
