Trump Advised Putin To "mediate" Russia's War, Not The Middle East

The U.S. president rejected the Russian dictator's offer.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday, June 18, spoke about Russian ruler Vladimir Putin's offer to mediate the Iran-Israel conflict, which Trump refused.

"He did offer to help with mediation. I said: "Do me a favor, be your own mediator. Let's deal with Russia first, OK?" I said: "Vladimir, let's deal with Russia first. And you can deal with that later,'" Trump told reporters.

The American president said he spoke with Putin "yesterday."
