This is how the US president responded to a question about what he wanted to say to the head of Iran.

US President Donald Trump commented to reporters on statements by Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, who emphasized that Tehran has no intention of capitulating.

The US president was asked what he would say to Ali Khamenei, who does not want to surrender.

"I wish him luck," the American leader succinctly explained (quoted by CNN).

Trump also said that he communicates daily with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

"I said to Netanyahu, 'Keep going,'" the US president explained.
