The White House spokeswoman quoted the U.S. president as saying.

US President Donald Trump will make a decision on a possible attack on Iran within two weeks.

White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt said this at a briefing broadcast on the US administration's Youtube channel.

"Based on the fact that there is a significant likelihood of negotiations with Iran ...> in the near future, I will make a decision whether or not to intervene within the next two weeks," she cited Trump's statement.
