Poland's New First Lady: What Is Known About Karol Nawrocki's Wife

With 100% of the protocols counted, the candidate backed by the opposition Law and Justice party, 42-year-old Karol Nawrocki, has won Poland's presidential election.

Like her husband, 39-year-old Marta Nawrocki hails from the city of Gdansk. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. She started her professional career at the Polish Customs Service, but later changed her career vector. Since 2017, she moved to the national tax administration (KAS). She specializes in monitoring the oil and alcohol industry and combating illegal gambling. In Navrocka's own words, her work "requires a lot of courage."
On her Instagram page, Navrocka presents herself as a happy wife, mother and tax official.
"I support my husband on the path he has chosen," her business card reads.
Karol and Marta Navrocka are raising three children together: sons Daniel and Antoni, and daughter Katarzyna. Daniel is the adopted son of the new president of Poland - the politician met his future wife when the boy was two years old. Nevertheless, Nawrocki raised him as his own child. Now grown-up Daniel is trying his hand at journalism and is interested in politics - in 2024 he ran for the Gdansk City Council from the Law and Justice party.
"I was conquered by the fact that for Karol it was not an obstacle that I was 19 years old and had a two-year-old son," said Marta Nawrocka about the beginning of her relationship with her husband.
He speaks about his first lady as a wife, mother of his children and a loyal friend, who can always be relied on.
Marta Navrotska took a vacation during her husband's election campaign and was an active participant of various events related to the upcoming elections. "I can't imagine how one could not support her husband on this important journey. I have suspended my professional activities for the duration of the election campaign, so no doubt Karol and you can count on me," Navrotska wrote on her Instagram in February 2025.
With her public appearances, she emphasized traditionalism and family values. "The first lady is not a celebrity or an activist. This is the person who should provide support and show that the state has strong foundations," Karol Nawrocki's wife is convinced.
