Trump Has A Contingency To Strike Iran's Fordow Nuclear Facility

If a GBU-57 bomb doesn't do the trick.
Washington has not ruled out the possibility of striking the Fordow nuclear facility with tactical nuclear weapons.
At the same time, the US is confident in the effectiveness of its bunker buster bombs to destroy deep facilities like Fordow.
Journalist Fox News Jackie Heinrich, citing a White House official, reported that Washington is considering using tactical nuclear weapons against Iran's nuclear facilities.
This information comes on the back of yesterday's publication of The Guardian, which claimed that Donald Trump allegedly doubts the sufficient power of the 13.6-ton GBU-57 bomb.
Sources say that immediately after Trump's return to power, the issue of the GBU-57 depth bomb's lack of effectiveness was raised.
It is claimed that the Fordow facility is located too deep, only to be reached by a nuclear strike. However, Trump himself allegedly avoided considering such a scenario. During a meeting of the US National Security Council, the idea of using tactical nuclear weapons was allegedly not voiced aloud.
It was nevertheless noted that even two GBU-57 bombs might not be enough to completely destroy the Fordow nuclear facility.
Trump, as in the case of Russia, still believes that Iran can be brought to the negotiating table. The White House press office said the day before that Trump would make a final decision on Iran within the next two weeks.
White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt quoted Trump directly as saying he was confident that within those two weeks Iran would either agree to talks or finally back out.
