A fire broke out on the coast as a result of the impact UAV, and recreational facilities were damaged by the blast wave.

"Emergency services are working on the ground," the mayor added.

Another area of the city had a gas line damaged and emergency services were working on the scene.

The head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, said the enemy had again launched a massive drone strike on Odessa on the night of June 20.

"Despite the active work of air defense forces, there is damage to civilian infrastructure, in particular residential houses, the building of a higher educational institution, a gas pipeline and private cars. In the city center, as a result of a drone hit, a high-rise apartment building was on fire," he wrote.

All authorized services were working to eliminate the consequences, Kipper said. According to preliminary information, two people were injured. They received all the necessary medical care.

Mayor Trukhanov said that as a result of the impact of the UAV there was a large-scale fire that literally destroyed a residential four-storey building.

"Slabs and walls collapsed, there may be people under the rubble. Emergency services are working," the mayor noted.

According to the State Emergency Service as of 05:00, more than 10 hits were recorded in Odessa, resulting in large-scale fires.

From a four-story apartment building engulfed in flames, rescuers rescued three residents and evacuated six others.

"During the liquidation of the fire and rescue of people, structures collapsed on the rescuers - three firefighters were injured. They are in the hospital in stable condition," the department said.

In addition, a 23-story apartment building was damaged, where the fire engulfed the 18th, 19th and 20th floors. 600 residents were evacuated from the high-rise building. In particular, three people were rescued from the blocked apartment, among them - two children.

The fires also engulfed five more residential buildings and three cars in Odessa.

In place of the partially destroyed house, the State Emergency Service deployed the Indestructibility Point. According to residents, there could be one more person in the building, so search and rescue operations continued at the site.

A total of 13 people were injured in the Russian attack in Odessa, including three rescuers. The State Emergency Situations Service, along with volunteers, continued to work on the ground. People were supported by psychologists of the service.

The infrastructure of Odessa railway station was damaged as a result of the night drone attack. The contact network and rail-tie grating were hit. There were no casualties. Specialists "Ukrzaliznytsia" liquidated the consequences. Train traffic is carried out according to schedule.
