The Abbotsford Canucks won an important victory in the fourth game of the final series of the AHL playoffs, beating the Charlotte Checkers 3:2.

Thanks to this success, the Canadian club led the series to four wins - 3:1 - and was just one step away from winning the Calder Cup.
