Russian dictator threatens Ukraine again.
Russia's dictator Vladimir Putin has commented on the advance of the Russian military in Ukraine and did not rule out the "capture" of Sumy. He made his statements on June 20, speaking at a plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, he was quoted by the Russian news agency RBC.
"We have an old - not a saying, not a parable, but a rule: where a Russian soldier's foot treads, it is ours," Putin replied to a question about Russian troops on Ukrainian territories.
He also said that the Russian Federation at various stages offered Ukraine to "stop and negotiate," warning Kiev that "it will be worse."
In response to a question about the alleged "security zones" in Sumy region, the Kremlin head said he did not rule out an attempt to seize Sumy.
"In Sumy region, the depth is somewhere from 10 to 12 kilometers, somewhere there are 8, 10, 12 kilometers. Further is the city of Sumy, the regional center. We do not have such a task - to take Sumy, but, in principle, I do not rule it out," Putin said.
