He was a key coordinator between the Ayatollah regime and Hamas.
On the night of Saturday, June 21, using accurate intelligence, IDF Air Force fighter jets eliminated the commander of the Palestinian Quds Force Corps, Sayyid Izadi, near the Iranian city of Qom. He was a key coordinator between the Ayatollah regime and Hamas, wrote Details.
The IDF press service said. Izadi was eliminated while in hiding. A clip of the attack, which is very likely an operation to eliminate the general, has been circulating on Iranian social media. Iranian media say two people were killed in the attack and two others were wounded.
Izadi was responsible for military coordination between senior IRGC and Iranian regime commanders and key Hamas figures. Responsible for Iranian funding of Hamas and direct contacts with Palestinian factions in Judea and Samaria.
Izadi was also one of the main organizers of the October 7 massacre and one of the few who knew about it in advance. During the war, he was also responsible for directing Hamas forces operating from Lebanon in line with the Iranian regime's interests in the area. More recently, his activity has been aimed at rebuilding Hamas' military wing and maintaining its controlling role in the Gaza Strip.
Izadi was one of the developers and propagandists of the Iranian regime's specific plan to destroy Israel, rehearsed on October 7. The essence of the plan is an attack on Israel from several fronts at once by tens of thousands of terrorists from Lebanon, following a massive rocket attack.
"Retribution will catch up with anyone," commented Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on the elimination of Saeed Izadi.
