Fighters of the Ukrainian Phoenix UAV unit have inflicted a serious defeat on Russian troops in the Kostyantynivske direction. The enemy attack launched on June 17 was successfully repelled thanks to the coordinated work of drones and engineering calculations, OSGV "Khortytsa" reported.

According to the Ukrainian military, the enemy tried to carry out a large-scale assault, involving about 15 units of heavy armored vehicles, including tanks, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles.

But even on the approaches to the Ukrainian positions, the equipment ran into remotely placed mines. Further advance was thwarted thanks to the actions of FPV drone operators, who were recovering the already damaged armored vehicles.

The occupants' manpower was hit precisely from the air: a different type of drones, operating on drones that effectively covered the enemy infantry that escaped from the damaged vehicles, were used.

After the first wave of attack, the enemy tried to use motorized infantry units, the very mobile groups that Ukrainian fighters call "bikers."

But they too were met with booby traps and drone strikes. As a result, none of the Russian military managed to get closer to the Ukrainian positions.

The fighters of the Phoenix unit estimated that at least 4 tanks, 7 units of other heavy armored vehicles, one buggy and one motorcycle were destroyed during the battle. In addition, according to preliminary data, about 50 Russian occupants were eliminated.
