Any attempt by Tehran to retaliate against the US will be met with force.

US President Donald Trump has warned Iran against acting in response to strikes carried out by the United States against Iranian facilities.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing his statement made after the operation in question.

"Iran is in for either peace or a tragedy far worse than what we have seen over the last eight days. Remember, there are still many targets left. Today's was the most difficult and perhaps the most deadly," he warned.

Trump said the U.S. would strike other targets if "there is no peace," and most of them "can be destroyed in minutes."

"No army in the world could have done what we did today. There has never been an army that could have done what happened," he added.

Later, Trump wrote on his social media network Truth Socia that any attempt by Iran to retaliate against the US would be "met with force."
