(Updated) The struggle continues.

Yesterday, political prisoner and people's blogger Sergei Tikhanovsky was released. With him were released journalist Igor Karney, MSLU lecturer Natalya Dulina, anarchist activist Akihiro Gaevsky-Hanada, Sergei Sheleg, Galina Krasnyanskaya, Kirill Balakhonov, Allan Royo, as well as three Polish citizens. A total of 14 released political prisoners became known.

The press conference of Siarhei Tikhanouski and other released political prisoners began at 12:30 pm Minsk time.

The live broadcast was conducted by Youtube channel "Belsat".

14:25 "I will need your support. I realize this is hard for you. But it's not like it's been hard for me, is it! I will need your help if you want to build a country to live in," Tikhanovsky concluded.

14:22 Tikhanovsky cried again when he spoke about support from human rights activists. "I want to meet and shake hands with the guys from Amnesty International," the blogger said.

"Many people became extremists in prisons when they started supporting political prisoners. These people also need to be pulled out," Tikhanovski said.

14:17 Tikhanovski reiterated for the third time that Trump could release all Belarusian prisoners. "Even the KGB is talking about it, we need to reach the American president," the ex-political prisoner said.

14:15 "There are no doctors in Belarusian prisons. There is only a paramedic who gives a pill. No dentist, no dermatologist," Tikhanovsky said.

14:11 Tikhanovsky said he did not believe he would be jailed before the "elections." "Maximum 3-4 years, and then after the elections. In 2010 everyone was jailed after the elections," said the former political prisoner.

14:07 The ex-political prisoner said that the dictator admitted that he planted money on him. Lukashenko also took offense at Tikhanovsky for calling him a "cockroach."

14:04 Tikhanovsky refused to shake Lukashenko's hand during a meeting in the KGB detention center in 2020. "At the end, I also did not give him my hand," the former political prisoner said.

13:48 "In the next month, everyone can come out," Sergei Tikhanovsky said.

"Trump can in one word," he continued and cried without finishing the phrase.

13:47 Sergei Tikhanovsky cried again when he began to talk about the conditions in the colony:

- No lawyers allowed, maniacs sit with TV sets, and I couldn't write to my family.

13:39 "Basic human needs are violated. Cold, prevented from sleeping," ex-political prisoner Natalya Dulina said of being thrown into the SHIZO.

13:32 "Crimea is Ukrainian territory," Tikhanovsky said. The former political prisoner called President Zelensky a hero.

13:30 "I have always been a Belarusian. Putin is our common enemy," Tikhanovsky responded to reproaches of being "pro-Russian."

13:24 The former political prisoner said he had been specially fattened over the past month in preparation for his release.

"Can you imagine how I looked before," Tikhanovsky said.

13:12 Sergei Tikhanovsky said he "will not interfere with the work of his wife's office."

13:09 The former political prisoner said he spent five years in solitary confinement. For almost three years he was not given letters.

13:03 Sergei Tikhanovsky believes that if not for Putin, Belarusians would have overthrown Lukashenko back in 2020.

13:02 The former political prisoner thought he would be released back in January.

13:00 After the speech, journalists began to ask questions.

Sergei Tikhanovsky cried when asked about his meeting with his children.

The daughter didn't recognize her father after five years of his imprisonment.

12:57 The ex-political prisoner finished his speech with the slogan "Zhyve Belarus!" Sergei Tikhanovsky announced new videos on his YouTube channel.

12:55 "If we don't fight, they will destroy our country, Belarus today is a kingdom of lies," Sergei Tikhanovsky said.

12:45 "They call us traitors, but I will call anyone who does not fight against Lukashism a traitor," Tikhanovsky said.

12:40 Sergei Tikhanovsky addressed the Belarusians:

"If you were waiting for a sign, here it is. States perish when they cannot distinguish between bad people and good people."

12:35 "I thank President Trump, he has such power that one word from him can free all political prisoners. I urge him to say that word," Sergey Tikhanovsky began his speech.
