Prime Minister Keir Starmer is in talks with key partners.
The UK was not involved in the US attack in Iran and was not asked to participate or authorized to use the Diego Garcia base in the Indian Ocean.
As Ynet writes, UK Foreign Trade Minister Jonathan Reynolds told Sky News. However, he noted that the UK had been informed in advance of the operation.
He also said: "Prime Minister Keir Starmer is in talks with our key partners. We will shift military resources to the Middle East and act to protect British, US and NATO interests in the region."
Sam Starmer said after the US strike on Iran's nuclear facilities that Tehran's nuclear program posed a "serious threat to international security" and that the Islamic Republic must return to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end the conflict with Israel and the United States.
Starmer added that Iran "will never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons," and called the U.S. attack an action to "eliminate this threat."
