Sergei Tikhanovsky: Trump "with One Word" Can Release All Political Prisoners In Belarus

The People's Blogger addressed the President of the United States.

Former political prisoner and people's blogger Sergei Tikhanovsky said in his first press conference after his release that he hopes to return to his native country someday and urged U.S. President Donald Trump to get Lukashenko to release all political prisoners - there are more than 1 thousand of them in Belarus even now after the events of 2020.

"President Trump now has the power and opportunity to release all political prisoners in Belarus with one word, and I ask him to do it, to say the word," said Tikhanovsky and repeated this idea several times.

The political prisoner urged journalists to help him bring this idea to the U.S. president.
