Russian Strike On Kiev: Five People Killed

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, five people were killed and 13 others were injured as a result of the combined Russian shelling. 10 people, including two children and a pregnant woman, were rescued by rescuers.

"Liquidation of the consequences of the night strike on the city continues, all services are working. The information is being clarified," the department added. Shortly thereafter, Interior Minister Igor Klymenko said that the number of dead had increased.

"The most severe consequences are in Shevchenkivskyi. A whole entrance of a residential multi-storey building was destroyed. As of now - 5 dead. The employees of the State Emergency Service rescued 10 injured people. All are provided with medical and psychological assistance. Debris removal continues. According to our data, there are still people under the ruins," he said.
