The dictators of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation.

Lukashenko and Putin discussed a range of topics. In particular, the upcoming summit of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the Belarusian-Russian "union" agenda - the continuation of joint projects and programs.

The dictators also discussed regional issues and the international situation, including Russia's war in Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East.

Lukashenko's press service also announced Putin's visit to Minsk.

The Kremlin later reported the phone conversation. It said that the conversation focused on preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk. In addition, Putin and Lukashenko discussed topical international and regional issues.
