Ukrainian president reveals details of meeting with US leader.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed with US President Donald Trump the strengthening of air defense in Ukraine and joint production of drones.

Zelensky wrote about it in Telegram.

"Congratulated President Trump on the successful operation in the Middle East. It is important that the US actions weakened not only its nuclear program, but also the production of drones. We will observe the situation," Zelensky wrote.

He said that the protection of Ukrainians and the purchase of American air defense systems to cover Ukrainian cities were discussed with Trump.

"Ukraine is ready to buy this equipment and support American arms manufacturers. Europe can help. We also talked about possible coproduction of drones. We can strengthen each other," Zelensky said.

He told Trump about how the meetings of Ukraine's technical team with Russia in Istanbul and the exchange of prisoners and dead were held. In particular about Russia handing over the bodies of its own dead to Ukraine.

"Now in Kiev they are doing forensic examinations to find their relatives. We talked about the situation on the battlefield. Putin is definitely not winning. Presented Trump with a factoid of what is really happening on the ground. Thank you for the meeting and support. Thank you for the really good words about our people. We will work further," - emphasized Zelensky.
