  • 27.06.2025, 10:30

ISW analysts have released details.

Ukrainian forces have made advances in the Novopavlovsk direction. This is evidenced by the data of the analysis published on June 26.

According to the results of geolocation materials, the Ukrainian military has advanced to the north of the Peredubova settlement located south of Novopavlovka, ISW reported.

It was also recorded by geolocation that the Ukrainian army has regained control over the areas to the north and northeast of Sumy in recent weeks. This has occurred against the backdrop of a slowdown in the Russian offensive in the border area.

Russian troops have recently expanded their presence in the north of Sumy region. Geolocation videos show that they have occupied the settlement of Andreevka, north of Sumy, and have also advanced southeast of Alekseevka, northeast of the city.

Some Russian military propagandists claim that Russian troops have advanced in the area of Yunakovka (northeast of Sumy). At the same time, Russian sources claim that Ukrainian forces conducted counterattacks north of Sumy (in the areas of Alekseevka and Novonikolayivka), as well as northeast of the regional center.

It is specified that the Russian occupation army also advanced in the area of Toretsk. According to geolocation data posted on June 25 and 26, they have made advances north of the city itself, as well as northwest of Toretsk.

Despite continued attempts by Russian forces to advance in several directions, there has been no confirmation of new territorial advances, except in the above cases, ISW analysts note.
