Belarusian goods are widely represented in the Russian-occupied areas of the Donetsk region of Ukraine - the "Donetsk People's Republic". This was reported to TASS by Russian Senator from the "Donetsk People's Republic" Alexander Voloshin on the margins of the XII Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus.

"Belarusian goods, Belarusian food are very widely represented in the "Donetsk People's Republic" and are in very high demand. Now we are working out - agricultural machinery, buses, electric buses, MAZ, service centers, MTS, with "BelAZ". A lot of systematic work is being done in all directions," he said.

Alexander Voloshin said that due to the turbulent situation in the region it's impossible to fully deploy the economic activity, for which there are prerequisites. Nevertheless, he noted, the region has seen an increase in cooperation in various spheres with Belarus.
