Military and political observer of the group "Information Resistance" Alexander Kovalenko commented on the question whether we should expect surprises from the AFU on the territory of Russia or Belarus.

"Quite possible. We never refuse to carry out such actions on the enemy's territory, because it is useful and important for us, despite criticism of the Kursk operation," he stressed in an interview with Glavred.

The expert is sure that any operation of the AFU, similar to the Kursk operation, which will have a similar effect, will be useful for Ukraine, and we are talking about operations not only on the territory of the Russian Federation.

"So far Belarus does not give us reasons to launch such an operation on its territory. If some threat is realized from the Belarusian territory, we will have grounds to launch an operation there. So far there are no such grounds," he does not rule out.

The interlocutor notes that the situation is the same with Transnistria, where the threat to Ukraine comes from.

"We would be only in favor of cleaning up Transnistria, but there must be a reason, a reason to deploy our troops, and also a corresponding request from Chisinau," he explained.

The expert is also sure that a reason is needed to launch an AFU operation on the Belarusian territory.

"It's not 2022. Unless Lukashenko throws something out. And he won't do that... Although it would be very interesting if during Keith Kellogg's visit to Minsk Ukraine started an operation on the territory of Belarus, reached Minsk and brought Kellogg to his daughter in Kiev. That would have been a number. So I think such operations on the territory of Russia or Belarus are quite possible," Kovalenko added
