June 3, Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin went on a "first-ever" visit to Pakistan, reported the press service of the Belarusian military department.

The head of the Defense Ministry will hold a number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of the military and political leadership of the country during the trip.

"It is planned that the visit will not only give impetus to the implementation of bilateral projects in the military sphere, but will also contribute to the development of cooperation in trade and economic sphere, taking into account the special role of the army in the society and economy of Pakistan," noted in the Belarusian military department.
