Ivulin Cup" Was Held In Warsaw

The IV soccer tournament of Belarusian solidarity "Cup Iwulina" took place in Warsaw on June 28. This year 27 teams from Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania took part in it. Most of the players were citizens of Belarus. The winner of the cup became the players of TLbud Rabona, writes the website of the TV channel "Belsat".
This year, the Cup of Ivulin was played on one of the fields of the Polish Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. It was a cozy, almost forest-like soccer field, divided into four sectors - surrounded by pine trees, linden trees, squirrels and wild boars of the Białańskie Forest.One of the visitors jokes that Belarusian soccer should be like this - a little bit forest and partisan. A little wild.
The referee's whistle - and let's go. "Go left!", "Shoot!", "Everybody home!" - the players' cries are heard in Belarusian, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and even Lithuanian. The Ivulin Cup has become truly international. In 2025, 27 teams are taking part in the tournament - four more than last year. Many teams from Warsaw, teams from Lodz, Krakow, Poznan, Gdansk, Białystok, Biała Podlaska, and two teams from Vilnius.
The scheme is simple: four groups of seven teams (one group has six), and then there are cup ties.
The very first Ivulin Cup tournament was held in 2022 as a sign of support and solidarity with Alexander, who was still behind bars at the time.
"Look, people came with drums, with fireworks - and it's really very cool. This is a story about Belarusians coming together not only to have a great time, but also to remind about the fact that there are about 1200 political prisoners in Belarus now. And to raise money for the children of political prisoners. Because we believe that this is very, very important," said Alexander Ivulin.
The head of the sports club "Pagonia" Anton Logvinets, who founded the tournament "Ivulin Cup" in Warsaw four years ago, also addressed the players and fans.
"For us, those who are here, solidarity is not an empty word. We are here in responsibility for those who are having a much harder time, in responsibility for those who are suffering for the truth. And we have to help them," Anton Logvinets was laconic.
Last year the winner of the Ivilin Cup was TI Rabona (part of the Team Ivilin club structure). This year in the first semifinal pair "White Bison" and TLbud Rabona met, in the second - Kozaki and FC Impuls UA. In the final - Belarusian Rabona and Ukrainian Impuls. Tlbud Rabona took the Ivulin Cup.
