Drones Attacked Moscow

Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Vnukovo airports are closed.

Russia said that on the night of June 6, Moscow was attacked by ten drones, which were allegedly shot down.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Telegram of the mayor of the Russian capital Sergey Sobyanin.

The official said that the Russian Defense Ministry's air defense forces shot down ten drones that were flying towards Moscow.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense forces destroyed ten drones that were flying towards Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the site where the wreckage fell," the report said.

The drone attack on the Russian capital became known after 3 a.m.

Sobyanin reported at 3:44 that air defense forces had shot down six drones on the approach to Moscow, and at 3:56 announced the elimination of three more drones.

The final report was sounded at 4:33 with the final result - 10 UAVs.

It was also reported that due to the air threat, the takeoff and landing of flights at Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Vnukovo airports was temporarily suspended.
