Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law regulating the punishment of employees of companies and organizations for violation of labor discipline, reports The Moscow Times.
According to the document, which is published on the portal of legal acts, employers will have the right to reduce the total salary of Russian citizens by up to 20%. For this purpose, as follows from the law, employees will be able to deprive bonuses.
The procedure for depriving bonuses must be prescribed "in a local normative act that establishes the bonus system," according to the text of the law. At the same time, employers retain the right to apply other "disciplinary penalties" - reprimand, reprimand, dismissal, follows from the explanatory note to the document. The law was adopted "in order to realize the employee's right to timely and full payment of fair wages," the authors write.
"The maximum amount of reduction in total wages will be no more than 20% per month," the State Duma press service points out.
