FIFA Rejected The Request Of Belarus To Hold The Match Against Scotland In Minsk

Since 2022, the Belarusian national team has been forced to host opponents in neutral stadiums.

FIFA rejected the request of the Association "Belarusian Football Federation" to hold the World Cup qualifying match against Scotland in September at the National Stadium in Minsk, writes "Pressball".

At the FIFA Congress in Paraguay, representatives of the Belarusian side appealed to the governing body of world soccer, which was rejected.

Reminder, the national team of Belarus has been forced to host opponents in neutral stadiums since 2022. The conditional home match against Scotland should be held on September 8. Belarus is also in the same group with Greece and Denmark. The start is September 5 with an away match against Greece.
