Hungary's prime minister believes Moscow cannot attack NATO.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban sees no real military threat from Russia to NATO countries, as it has proven unable to achieve what it wants in Ukraine.
He said this in an interview with France's LCI.
Orban said he was not afraid of the Russian-Ukrainian war expanding to a global war.
"The Russians are too weak for that. They can't even defeat Ukraine, so they can't really attack NATO," he said.
At the same time, in response to another question, he said that Ukraine would "lose the war" and that, he said, the real negotiations to end it would be between Russia and the United States.
"Neither Europe nor Ukraine will be able to negotiate with Russia. Ukraine because it is losing the war and Europe because it is too involved. It needs to be an agreement between the Russians and the Americans," the Hungarian prime minister said."
