Ukraine's Air Defense System Breaks Record For Destroying Russian Missiles And Drones

The AFU air force released the data.

On Monday night, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 479 Russian drones and missiles. This is a new absolute record since the beginning of the full-scale war. Such data published by the AFU Air Force on June 9.

It is stated that Russian aggressors used 499 drones and missiles in total, which is also a new record:

479 strike UAVs of Shahed type and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF;

4 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal from the Tambov region of the Russian Federation;

4 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal from the Tambov region of the Russian Federation;

10 cruise missiles from the Russian Federation;

10 cruise missiles from the Tambov region of the Russian Federation. - RF;

10 cruise missiles Kh-101 from Saratov region - RF;

3 cruise missiles Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal from Tambov region. -

3 cruise missiles Kh-22 from the airspace above the Black Sea;

2 anti-radar missiles Kh-31P from the airspace above the Black Sea;

1 cruise missile Kh-35 from TOT Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, units of REB and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups.

Preliminary data show that as of 10:30 the air defense neutralized 479 means of enemy air attack, 292 were shot down by fire, 187 were locally lost:

277 enemy UAVs of various types shot down, 183 - locally lost/suppressed by REB;

10 cruise missiles Kh-101;

4 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal;

2 cruise missiles Kh-22 - did not reach targets (locally lost);

2 anti-radar missiles Kh-31P;

1 cruise missile Kh-35.

At the same time, hits of enemy air attack means were recorded in 10 locations, downed (fragments) in 17 locations.
