UAVs Attacked Russia En Masse

The Russian Federation is closing airports.

Residents of Russia's Saratov and Engels reported the sounds of explosions and sirens, in addition Rostov, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk and several districts of the Rostov region were under attack by UAVs.

Rosaviation said Saratov airport has suspended operations, according to the Russian publication Astra.

Local authorities say there is a threat of UAV attacks, warning systems are working and emergency services have been put on standby.

Rio governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar says drones have attacked Rostov, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk and several districts of the Rostov region. In particular, he says, BpLa were allegedly destroyed in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, Millerovsky, Myasnikovsky, Aksai, Neklinovsky and Matveevo-Kurgan districts.

The Russian official also claims that several windows were broken in an apartment building in Taganrog and cars that were parked nearby were damaged.

The airports of Ulyanovsk and Kazan have also suspended operations.

The Defense Ministry of Russia's aggressor country claims that 60 UAVs were allegedly destroyed and intercepted over Russia and occupied Crimea on the night of July 1.
