The Russian Federation has deployed about 50 thousand of its military near Sumy region.

US President Donald Trump said that he is monitoring the situation in Ukraine in case of a possible new Russian summer offensive.

He said this while talking to journalists.

Thus, he commented on the information that Russia has deployed about 50,000 of its military near Sumshchina, probably preparing to launch a new summer offensive operation against Ukraine.

Trump was asked what his reaction would be if Russia does go on the offensive.

"We'll see what happens. I'm watching the situation very closely," the American president replied.
