Russian missile system "Oreshnik" will be deployed in Belarus by the end of 2025. This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko.
"Putin and I agreed in Volgograd. The first positions of Oreshnik will be in Belarus. You have seen the work of Oreshnik. By the end of the year, these weapons will be deployed in Belarus," the Belarusian dictator said.
In December 2024, Lukashenko asked his Russian counterpart to deploy modern Russian weapons systems, including Oreshnik, on the territory of the republic. Putin said at the time that the deployment of the Oreshnik in Belarus was possible in the second half of 2025.
The Russian dictator said that as soon as such systems start arriving in Russian troops, they will be delivered to Belarus in parallel.
According to Charter97.org, Lukashenko had previously asked Putin to deploy Russia's latest Oreshnik missile system in the country. The Russian Embassy responded to the usurper's request and delivered to Belarus... a hazel bush.
