Kremlin Hands Trump New Proposals On Ukraine

The administration of US President Donald Trump has received new proposals from Russia on the settlement in Ukraine. This was announced by State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce at a briefing on Thursday by State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce.

She said the Kremlin's new ideas were announced at a meeting between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov the previous day in Malaysia.

"The Russians shared some ideas that he (Rubio - TMT) will bring to the president. And of course, we'll see what he says. The president always leads these kinds of decisions," Bruce said.

She recalled that both Rubio and Trump are disappointed by the lack of progress in resolving the crisis over Ukraine.
