AP: Putin Won't Be Saved By The 50 Days Trump Gave Him

The Kremlin's plans have stalled.

Trump has given the Kremlin a head start of 50 days, during which Putin's army will try to seize more Ukrainian territory. However, at the same time, the pace of the Russian Armed Forces' advancement on the battlefield does not yet indicate that the enemy will have any major territorial gains ahead of them.

If Russia still fails to reach an agreement with Ukraine in 50 days, it will face energy sanctions it has "never seen before," according to Associated Press.

In those 50 days, Putin's army will try to make major gains in the Donbass. They will try to capture Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka to further open the way to Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.

The AFU is holding back the enemy thanks to drones. AFU commanders say they feel pressure from the Russian Armed Forces, but the enemy has no major breakthroughs either. At the same time, the enemy will not be able to achieve large territorial gains in such a short time.

Putin's army is advancing very slowly while constantly suffering heavy losses. Moscow relies on strategic attrition in Ukraine, striking both on the front lines and behind the lines on civilian infrastructure. Putin also strongly believes that the West will sooner or later stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
