Bus Driver - "on The Mayor" Of Brest: Everyone Went To Poland

  • 16.07.2025, 19:24

There's no one to work in the city.

The chairman of Brest City Executive Committee Sergei Lobodinsky went to Brest Public Transport.

The Brest "mayor" learned about the real situation with salaries at the enterprise not from comments in tiktok, but from the source. Apparently, for a balance of opinions, Lobodinsky decided to talk to the drivers. One of them did not shy away from the big boss and said that the situation with salaries is not as rosy as the boss describes it. Because of this, many left for Poland and Germany, because they can earn money there, while in Brest - not so much.

"They will raise wages, drivers will come back. They will come from Poland, from Germany. Why should they work for other people abroad, they can work here. They all left for the big ruble. We need to raise them here. Let them work for their own country, not abroad. Why should we take people from Africa, Asia, train them? We need to raise wages and bring back our own people," said the driver.

According to the man, the park has a shortage of not only drivers, but also mechanics. And also because of salaries.

"There are not enough drivers and locksmiths. The labor force is all abroad. Everyone goes where they are paid more. Good specialists used to be paid more. Take the Soviet Union. A worker there earned well, could earn something, achieve something. Apartments were given," said the driver.
